Requirements for a New Passport:
1) One New passport
application form.
2) Three passport-sized photos (attached with cellophane
tape).
3) If you are a U.S. alien resident, provide a copy
of your Green Card, or your Social Security card, along
with one type of photo identification.
4) Picture identification (i.e. passport, Taskera) indicating
Afghan citizenship.
5) Passport application fee of $24.00
for 1year. (All fees must be paid with either
a money order or cashiers check made payable to the
Consulate General of Afghanistan NY)
6) All application forms
must be done in person. we do not accept passprt application
by mail.
